What is kyphosis?
Kyphosis is an increase in curvature of the back when viewed from the side. The back’s curvature is over 50 degrees when the spine is viewed from the side. Fracture-related posttraumatic kyphosis, postural or positional kyphosis, and Scheuermann’s kyphosis are among the causes of kyphosis.
What is the treatment of kyphosis?
Measurements should be made on the scoliosis radiogram obtained in the ideal standing position to decide on the treatment. The decision on the type of treatment should be made on the patient’s behalf in private; therefore, you should consult when necessary.
